Prime Minister Edi Rama said that Albania does not have to worry about the trade war that United States President Donald Trump has launched with practically the entire world, including our country.
"We have no concerns regarding that topic. Our approach to this whole new policy that is being done with tariffs is very simple and comfortable for our own position and the volume of trade that we have with the US. And if you also refer to the table of announced tariffs, we have no reason to have any concerns," said Rama, speaking at a media conference in Tirana together with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
According to figures published by the US administration, the US has imposed a 10% tariff on Albanian products, a figure much lower than most countries in the region. The same tariff has also been imposed on Kosovo, while the figure for Serbia is 37%. (A2 Televizion)
