Tumor diseases are increasingly affecting patients, mainly in the elderly, but also at younger ages.

The data comes from the Fier regional hospital, where 120 patients with tumor diseases were recorded in the first three months of the year. The oncologist shows the age groups affected and the types of diagnoses in men and women.

"There is an increase in the number of cases of malignant diseases. 120 patients have been diagnosed, mainly from the elderly. However, there is also an increase in cases among young people," Anisa Mone told A2 CNN.

Genetic inheritance and, of course, lifestyle and nutrition are seen as the main causes of these diseases, but the doctor appeals for continuous check-ups so that the disease can be caught in the early stages, as it ensures better treatment until the disease is eliminated.

Treating cases of tumor diseases caught in time has brought very good results after medical treatment, significantly reducing the mortality rate. (A2 Televizion)
