The Municipality of Gjirokastra has launched an action to free public spaces from the Roma market on the outskirts of the city, at the foot of the mountain, in the Grehot neighborhood.
The arrival of the vehicles that carried out the demolition of the improvised market has sparked the reaction of dozens of people from the Roma community, who express concern that with the demolition of this market they no longer have anything to provide income for their families.
Meanwhile, the Municipality of Gjirokastra still has no direction on where this category should be sold, while there is still no action to free up public spaces in the museum area or even in the lower area of the city. (A2 Televizion)
