For 6 months, 150 families, whose homes were damaged by the November 2019 earthquake, have received the keys to their new apartments but have not been able to use them. The facility, although completed, is not connected to the water supply network and electricity lines.
Although with the keys to the new apartments in their pockets, they continue to live in rented apartments, while for two years they have not even benefited from the rent bonus given by the municipality of Durrës.
This is the reconstructed building in district no. 17 of Durrës, which should accommodate 150 families whose apartments were damaged by the earthquake of 2019. But even though they have received the keys to the apartments since June, they have not been able to enter their homes, as the local authorities have not connected either electricity or water. For this reason, a part of the residents protested in front of the municipality of Durrës.
For the umpteenth time, residents do not receive an answer to the right issues they raise, while they are promised a meeting with the mayor of Durrës in the following days. (A2 Televizion)
