Like Europe, Albania is also on alert for RSV. Experts draw attention to parents and family doctors for quick reaction to the first signs.
The Institute of Public Health will start routine testing against the RSV virus, to diagnose it in time and differentiate it from Covid and seasonal flu.
Even last winter, the respiratory syncytial virus was co-circulating with the flu and COvid. But children's exposure to RSV or overlapping with other viruses worsened their health, increased hospitalizations and severe forms. (A2 Televizion)
