Football has lost one of the most prominent coaches of the 80s and 90s. Dutchman Leo Benhakker has passed away at the age of 82.
The former coach rose to fame managing teams such as Ajax, Feyenoord and Real Madrid, with whom he won three consecutive championship titles in the late 1980s, writes A2.
Benhakker was a coach who also made history in the national team. He led the Netherlands to the 1990 World Cup, and then managed Trinidad and Tobago, which he incredibly qualified for the 2006 World Cup.
While in 2008 he managed to qualify Poland for the 2008 European Championship. (A2 Televizion)
