According to Italian newspaper Il Gazzettino, Bezos left a €45,000 tip to the staff of the seven-star hotel where he stayed with his new wife, Lauren Sanchez, shortly after their wedding.
Although Bezos himself has neither confirmed nor denied this information, the news has become a topic of discussion in the Italian city, where the couple's stay has attracted great attention.
