Actor and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is recovering from an incident that happened during his birthday dinner on Friday night. During the event, someone from another table threw a glass in his mouth.

A spokesperson for Foxx confirmed the incident, saying, "The police were called and the matter is now in the hands of law enforcement," reports A2 CNN. The local police initially received information about a possible incident with weapons, but after ascertaining that it was a physical conflict between the parties, they did not make any arrests.

This incident happened just days after Foxx shared his experience with a serious health problem in a Netflix special titled "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was."

Foxx took to social media to thank his supporters and show that he doesn't let obstacles stop him. "When your light shines brightly, some try to bring darkness, but they don't know that you are built for it," he said.

In the Netflix special, Foxx revealed that he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage that caused a stroke last year. "It was a mystery," he said. He lost consciousness and does not remember 20 days of the event.

Thanks to his sister, who took him to Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Foxx underwent life-saving surgery. Although the recovery was difficult, he is optimistic and grateful for the support he has received. (A2 Televizion)
