The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has also expressed his shock over the serious tragedy with 50 victims and 118 injured in Kocani, North Macedonia. In a post on social networks, the Albanian head of state expressed his condolences to the families and the Macedonian people for the serious event.
"Shocked by the tragedy that has occurred, by the loss of young lives and the injury of many others from the fire that broke out in a discotheque in the city of Kocani, North Macedonia. My sincere condolences go to the families who lost their loved ones and to all the neighboring people of North Macedonia. My prayers and those of the Albanian people go to the injured, that they find a speedy recovery and that the pain in the city of Kocani does not worsen," writes President Begaj.
We recall that the tragedy in North Macedonia occurred at around 3:00 am on March 16, at the "Kocani Pulse" nightclub in which about 1,500 young people were attending a concert by a famous local band. (A2 Televizion)
