The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will meet on Tuesday, November 14, with the special envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak. The meeting will be held at 11:00 in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic in Belgrade.
On November 7, Lajcak visited Kosovo, where he met with the first deputy prime minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, as well as with the leaders of the opposition parties to discuss the draft statute of the Association of Serb-majority municipalities.
On October 26, a special meeting was held in Brussels between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni with Kosovo Prime Minister Kurti and then with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The meetings did not bear fruit because Kurti requested the signing of the agreement for the normalization of relations between the two countries, which the leaders agreed on on February 27 in Brussels, and its annex, which was agreed on on March 18 in Ohrid. Kurti admitted that the plan of the Western envoys would be the new framework of the negotiations. (A2 Televizion)
