A Russian-made drone has reportedly spied on the area where the buildings of the European Commission's Joint Research Center are located in Ispra, in the province of Verona, on Lake Maggiore, at least five times. The news published by "Corriere della sera" is confirmed by informed sources. For about a week, the suspicious aircraft flew over one of the most guarded facilities in northern Italy. The report came from the European Joint Research Center, which used its experimental detection system for unknown aircraft. In March alone, there were five drone passes that caused the national security alarm, reports A2 CNN.
The drone in question, in fact, is often equipped with cameras and instruments capable of filming a target with excellent resolution and even in low light. It is also capable of night patrols and three-dimensional mapping. However, after those repeated flights, the remotely piloted aircraft never appeared again and left no trace.
