Gaza's main hospital "shut down", 39 babies in danger. Netanyahu: Palestinians will not govern after the war

The war continues in the Middle East, with Israel refusing to stop its revenge offensive against Hamas in response to the deadly October 7 attacks that have so far claimed 12,000 civilian lives in Gaza.

The most important development coming out of the Strip this Sunday is that communications have been cut and all generators at Gaza's main hospital, Al-Shifa, have been turned off, as it is placed under siege by the Israeli army.

The IDF believes the hospital is the headquarters of Hamas, where the leader of the armed faction, Jahya Sinwar, is also hiding. But the disconnection of electricity for the hospital as well as the lack of water, internet and medicine, according to the Palestinian Minister of Health, has put the lives of at least 39 newborns in serious danger.

Tel Aviv's actions have sparked outrage in the Middle East, with Iranian President Raisi calling for the " designation of the Israeli military as a terrorist organization ".

The leader of the Lebanese group Hezbollah has also been harsh, saying that " there is no more time for the Zionist entity and those who support it ".

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), that they will not be the ones to govern Gaza after the war.

" We will not allow those who have not condemned the massacre for over 30 days to control Gaza the next day. In Gaza there will be no civilian authority that educates terrorism and pays salaries to terrorists, and the army will continue to maintain control, " Netanyahu said.

The Jewish leader further accused Hamas of stopping the evacuation of civilians in Gaza.

" The one who is preventing the evacuation of the civilian citizens of Gaza is not Israel, it is Hamas. It is not Israel that is shooting at the crossings of the humanitarian corridors. Therefore, the responsibility for the evacuation of civilians is not Israel's, it is Hamas's," Netanyahu declared . (A2 Televizion)
