Boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk visits power plant damaged by Russian attacks in

World heavyweight boxer Oleksandr Usyk has visited a Ukrainian power plant damaged by multiple Russian missile attacks.

According to foreign media, the champion boxer was taken on a tour of the unnamed site by workers. It is not clear when the Russian missiles hit the plant.

The visit comes after Vladimir Putin agreed to a US proposal to halt attacks on energy infrastructure in Ukraine for 30 days.

Usyk is one of Ukraine's most popular and respected athletes. He has held the unified world heavyweight champion title since 2021.

During Volodymyr Zelenskyy's disastrous meeting with Donald Trump in Washington last month, the Ukrainian president presented Trump with one of the boxer's title-winning belts. (A2 Televizion)
