At least 12 people lost their lives as a result of a large explosion at an explosives factory in northwestern Turkey.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya immediately went to the scene, as it is confirmed that 4 other people were injured in the explosion.
The explosion occurred at a factory in the village of Kavakli in Balikesir province, while the governor of the region said there were no suspicions of sabotage.
Firefighters are on the scene and are working to put out the fires as the situation is delicate due to the materials in the factory. (A2 Televizion)
