Armed robbery in Kosovo, the 4 perpetrators shoot at the police, the officer is injured

A serious incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in Suhareka, where a police officer was injured after exchanging fire with 4 armed men who were robbing a jeweler.

The police received information that armed persons had entered to rob a jeweler and immediately went to the scene. The police were immediately faced with the reaction of the perpetrators, who fired with a weapon, leaving one of the officers wounded in the leg.

The spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Prizren region, Vesel Gashi, has confirmed that the police officer has been sent to the hospital and is out of danger for life, while the 4 perpetrators have managed to leave, but it has been possible to identify them.
