The member of the PSD leadership in Kosovo, Donjeta Demolli, has described the non-participation of the opposition and the PDK in today's protest against the head of the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo, Ekaterina Trendafilova, as shameful and unacceptable. In a connection with the Ditari studio on A2 CNN, she accused the opposition of abandoning the causes and leaders of the KLA.
"It is completely incomprehensible how they were left alone, the cause and leaders of the KLA were abandoned by the party they founded. It is incomprehensible how the prime minister and the government have declared today that they will not hand over the accused to The Hague, yesterday's statement was that; we have nothing to do. This is happening because the two parties that have associated themselves with the KLA are only benefiting from power and holding power and have no interest in pursuing the right causes such as the protection of freedom and the KLA's war. It is unacceptable how they have hegemony over today's discourse".
According to her, the opposition in Kosovo has fallen into the trap of Prime Minister Kurti and is passive for the causes of the country.
"The fight to protect the values and ideals of the KLA is one of the most worthy and just causes that can be done today. The citizens of Kosovo are with us. We have the full support, but we do not have the support of other opposition parties which have the infrastructure and structure for a larger protest, but have fallen into the sleep that is being ensured by Kurt's hegemony and have fallen into the trap of this hegemony and are passive both in parliament and outside it and are enabling the realism of of all Kurti's projects and especially in this fragile situation for the association. The leaders of the KLA would be opponents of this association. It suits everyone that he is forming Zajednica".
She accused Prime Minister Kurti that "he is interested in manipulating the discourse and he is one of the main factors for the situation today and the little protection of those in The Hague".
According to Demolli Trendafilova, high security enabled you during your visit to Kosovo, while emphasizing that she is not welcome, as she runs a court that persecutes the leaders of the KLA.
"Trendafilova is not welcome in Kosovo. She runs a court that judges the just war of the KLA. There are all the leaders of the KLA, who are currently being held in isolation and a series of various violations of human rights and we cannot allow the president of this court to come to Kosovo and make propaganda with this court where 75% of the evidence in this court is closed to the public. This court has so far spent 350 thousand euros and is expected to reach 1 million euros for the salaries of judges and prosecutors who are not bringing justice. Trendafilosva has been provided with the protection mechanism as if he were the president of one of the most important countries in the world, he has had high security. He has been awaited by the government with all the possible benefits , not as a president of an unjust court that persecutes the leaders of the KLA".
During today's protest against Trendafilova's visit, 6 people were arrested, including PSD chairman Dritan Molliqi, while several others were injured, including A2 CNN operator Burim Mjeku.
"There are 6 arrested, including the chairman Dardan Molliqi. They are held for 48 hours. We have other activists injured by tear gas from police violence, which is totally unacceptable for a symbolic action against an unjust court that has lost its legitimacy by its actions. We have protesting activists and injured journalists".
