PDK leader Memli Krasniqi said that he asked LVV leader Albin Kurti for "an acceptable figure" for Speaker of the Parliament, but said he is not convinced that he will do such a thing.
He said they exchanged "ideas and discussions regarding the constitution of the Assembly."
"I don't believe that the situation has changed, but let others know, the Democratic Party of Kosovo, never in the past nor today, hesitates to dialogue and discussions with anyone," said Krasniqi.
Krasniqi said that the PDK's position has not changed.
"Everything that happened today is clear. I told him: sir, change the candidate if you really want to constitute the Assembly," he said.
He said that he did not mention any names that PDK could vote for as Speaker of the Assembly, but reiterated that "Albulena Haxhiu is not going to pass."
Krasniqi said that the LVV has the opportunity and should enable the constitution of the Assembly as soon as possible, but said that the candidate "cannot be imposed." (A2 Televizion)
