Democratic Party of Kosovo member Zenun Pajaziti once again asked Albin Kurti and the Vetevendosje Movement to open their arms and allow opposition parties to form a new government, ending the weeks-long political stalemate.
Invited to the Kosovo Journal with journalist Xhevair Qardaku, Pajazi stated that opposition parties could form the new government together with minorities, but did not give a clear answer as to whether there would be an invitation for the Serbian List as well.
"We want the parties that were in the opposition to form the government, also because VV is not doing it. This would be the right solution to get out of this mess that has brought the country to a collapse. It is not up to the first party to be involved or not. It is up to it to form the government even with minorities. But the fact that it has lost normal communication is its responsibility.
If he cannot form a government, he must pave the way. It is not impossible to have a technical government, but Kosovo is not in a state of war, we are in a parliamentary democracy. We have been without a government for 3 months. The former cannot block the situation.
"Minorities are a constitutional category and it is precisely PDK that has implemented these principles. We have also been designers with partners for the constitution. The ruling party has alarmed minorities. No one can exclude representative minorities. We have not detailed anything. The Serbian List has been instrumentalized by Belgrade politics for years, they have excluded themselves. We have not discussed how minorities will be represented," said Pajaziti.
