Three letters to the EU for the Banjska case, the extradition of Raoicic still

Three letters have been sent to the EU Office in Kosovo regarding the September 24 terrorist attack in Banjska, Zveçan. Kosovo requested the handover of the main Serbian terrorist, Milan Radoicic, while Serbia is requesting the complete documentation for this case.

In early July, a letter arrived at the European Union office in Kosovo. From Serbia, they were looking for complete documentation for the case of September 24 in Banjské, Zveçan.

This is because the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade announced the filing of an indictment against the chief terrorist, Milan Radoicic.

"At the beginning of July, the EU Office in Kosovo received a letter from the Ministry of Justice of Serbia, which sent a request for mutual legal assistance to the High Public Prosecutor's Office of Belgrade regarding the Banjska case. Based on his mandate, the PSEU in Kosovo forwarded this request to the Kosovo authorities and then forwarded the corresponding correspondence from the Kosovo authorities to the Serbian authorities", says the EU office in Kosovo, reports A2 CNN.

Some time later, the second request came to the address of this office.

For mutual legal assistance with the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the authorities of Kosovo also requested.

This is believed to be related to the weapons used in the terrorist attack in Banjska.

Kosovo authorities said that the Kosovo Police were attacked with weapons that were provided by the city of Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"The representatives of the EU in Kosovo also received a request for mutual legal assistance from the authorities of Kosovo to the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the Banjska case. The request was sent to Sarajevo and a response has already been received. The answer was transmitted in time to the competent authorities in Kosovo", says the EU office in Kosovo, A2 CNN learns.

Bosnia was told that the Federal Police Administration is verifying this information.

These two letters were not from In October, Kosovo demanded the surrender of the organizer of the attack in Banjska, Milan Radoicic.

"Furthermore, the Representatives of the EU Office in Kosovo sent in October last year a request for mutual legal assistance from the Kosovo authorities to the Serbian authorities for the same issue. No response has yet been received from the Serbian authorities. We expect Serbia to fully cooperate with these requests through the established mutual legal assistance channel. The purpose of this mechanism is to ensure judicial cooperation between Kosovo and countries that do not recognize it, including Serbia, and to facilitate access to justice for everyone, regardless of their citizenship or residence",  from the EU office in Kosovo, reports A2.

Albulena Haxhiu, Minister of Justice, announced that this request of the Serbian state will also be officially rejected. (A2 Televizion)
