Winters come and go, but the problems of the residents in the villages of Kukës remain the same. Their life during the winter is a real challenge. The problems start from the roads left to the mercy of fate to the problems with the electricity supply.
It is enough to go a few minutes on the road that connects the villages of Mamëz, Surroi and Arrni with the city of Kukës and it is not difficult to understand the oblivion of the institutions towards these residents.
In the conditions when the youth of these areas have all emigrated and only the third-aged remain in the villages, the latter find it even more difficult to spend the nights without electricity.
Although they do not have any hope, residents continue to appeal for attention and a little investment from the institutions, to at least make life a little easier for the elderly. (A2 Televizion)
