Over 27 thousand high school graduates are preparing for the official closing of high school but also for the proper orientation towards universities. The State Matura is just around the corner. Young people are working with the model tests that the Ministry of Education has published so that the high school graduates can become familiar with the thesis and format of the exam. Meanwhile, at the beginning of June they have the real challenge, the 4 exams that close the pre-university cycle, the results of which will determine the profession of the future.
During a meeting with a group of high school graduates, the Ministry of Education guaranteed the development of a regular and fair process for all students.
"The model tests, which we have been giving to high school students for two years now since January, are a very good opportunity to familiarize yourself with the test method for the four matura exams. What is important this year is that we have reorganized the question bank, because the teachers who were involved, the drafters of the theses, have revised them very carefully. On the other hand, as for the test administrators, they will be the teachers who will be in the selected testing facilities and there will be over 140 schools that have been decided to be the testing facilities for the state matura exams. More than 640 evaluators are engaged, that is, teachers who will correct the tests."
Ministry Manastirliu spoke about the change in the format of the Matura exams, where in the near future, according to her, the digitalization of this process is expected. Manastirliu recommended that young people attend Albanian universities and their offers.
"The opportunities that exist in Albania today to pursue a quality education are much greater than they were yesterday. Today our universities are connected to prestigious European universities. We have the Agricultural University of Tirana that is connected to the University of Natural Sciences, Boku in Vienna and in a few years there will be unified diplomas just as if you had studied in Vienna, Austria. Meanwhile, we have dual programs and joint diplomas with foreign universities, starting with universities in Italy, where joint programs and dual diplomas create opportunities to have the same programs, with the same standards and for the diploma to be recognized in all countries."
The exams for high school graduates begin on June 3rd with a foreign language, to continue on June 10th with Albanian language and literature. A week later, there is the math test on June 17th, and on the 24th, the final exam, the elective subject exam. (A2 Televizion)
