The Sasaj village hydroelectric power plant is supplied with water from the Kalasa River source and produces electricity for the coastal area of ​​Himara.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense has provided additional information to the media about the situation created in the Municipality of Himara.

The Ministry's announcement states that at the time of the collapse of the Sasaj reservoir in Bunec, about 15 thousand cubic meters of water were discharged, and as a result, water and mud were present in 12 businesses in Bunec, and the food base of the livestock of 2 families was damaged.

Fortunately, according to the Ministry, there are no human problems, while work is being done to normalize the situation, writes A2 CNN.

Due to the rupture of the hydroelectric power plant, several villages such as Borsh, Qeparo, Lukovë and Shën Vasil have been left without electricity. Water has entered the area's electrical substation up to 1 meter deep, forcing them to cut off electricity.
