The iconic sculpture of the "Fisherman" in Durrës has been damaged again. Located on the "Taulantia" coastal promenade, near the area known as the "Sphinx", this work is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city and attracts the attention of many citizens and tourists.
Despite being restored twice within a year and returned to its place, the sculpture suffered damage again last evening.
Created by sculptor Dylber Neziri and placed by the sea in 2016, it has become a symbol of Durrës' urban identity.
However, along with the sculpture of singer Tina Turner, it remains one of the most frequently damaged works in the city. (A2 Televizion)
