A month after the murder of the 14-year-old student Martin Cani, the community of parents will protest again. At noon on December 18, they will gather in front of the "Fan Noli" school to demand justice for Martin, safety for children in schools and the removal of the Minister of Education from office. The parents state that the meetings with the central direction of the government in the schools have not given any voice to their concern.
"Several stabbings among young people took place after the event that took Martin's life. There were stabbings in different places; on the street, in the palace, in a sports hall and inside the school. What must happen for school safety to be treated as a national emergency? What should happen so that school meetings are no longer propaganda meetings, but the necessary reflection? What more needs to happen for the Minister of Education to resign. At a time when justice for Martin has not been done and tomorrow is a month and security in schools seems more fragile. It is the duty of each of us to react to this situation. Tomorrow at 13:00 we will be at the Fan Noli school to demand justice for Martin and our children in Albanian schools." (A2 Televizion)
