Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced through a post on social networks that Captain Arben Anamalin, the captain of the Shkodra Municipality tourist boat, who lost his life while saving two tourists on Lake Shkodra, has been declared a martyr of the homeland.
Rama called Anamal a "Martyr of the Homeland" and said that he will be honored with the highest gratitude of the Republic for his extraordinary act of sacrifice and humanity, writes A2 CNN.
"Rest in peace, martyr of the homeland. Unforgettable, Captain Arbeni!", writes Prime Minister Rama.
