CEC head Celibashi votes: Those who have no connection to the process should

The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, exercised his right to vote near the "Kushtrimi i Lirisë" school in the capital.

Celibashi voted shortly after visiting several polling centers in Vora, where incidents and clashes between Flamur Noka and SP activists were previously reported, and from where he called for candidates to stay away from polling centers and avoid putting pressure on voters.

Meanwhile, after the vote, Celibashi spoke again to the media, saying that those who violate the law in relation to the electoral process will be held accountable by the relevant institutions.

"For all those who are of the opinion that their engagement can contribute beyond the vote in the electoral process, they will receive the appropriate response from the relevant bodies. Minimum three years. And this message is clear to everyone, for any kind of illegality in this process. It is very important that not only politicians, political parties, but also citizens have responsibilities regarding the electoral process. It is important that persons who are not related to the electoral process and the VCs, or those persons with criminal records, it is best to stay away from the voting centers," he said.
