Police officers in Saranda have arrested two people, who are accused of distributing narcotics and possessing weapons without a permit.
In the city's neighborhood no. 1, police arrested citizen Florian Gjonça, 21 years old, resident of Saranda. During the physical search, a quantity of suspected cannabis was found and seized from him. It is suspected that the 21-year-old distributed the narcotic substance in small doses, mainly in the city's nightclubs.
Meanwhile, in another case, an "Audi" type vehicle was stopped, where during the search a "Gamo" brand sporting weapon was found, which was being held without a permit. The officers arrested the driver of the vehicle, 44-year-old Arkad Hadushi, also a resident of Saranda.
The weapon was seized as material evidence and criminal proceedings were initiated against the 44-year-old for possession of a weapon without a permit. The materials related to both cases were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further legal action. (A2 Televizion)
