A 39-year-old man from Manza, Durrës, has been arrested by the police after he hit the emergency services and the ambulance that went to provide him with a hard object. According to the police, during the escort to the police station, he threatened and resisted the officers.
"As soon as they were notified that a citizen had hit the Durrës Hospital Emergency Services and the ambulance they had used to provide medical assistance at the apartment in the village of Përlat, the Manzë Police Station services immediately went to the scene.
As a result, the suspected perpetrator of the case, citizen LD, 39 years old, was arrested, who also, during the escort to the Police premises, threatened and opposed the Police officers, due to their duty," the Police announced.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Destruction of property", "Opposition of a public order police officer", "Insults due to duty" and "Threat due to duty".
