The trial for the "Golden Bullet" case continued at the Special Court this Wednesday. The hearing began with strong tensions between the defendants, as Xhuliano Hoxha and Erion Alibej made statements against each other.
"In one of the meetings I had with Erion Alibej, he told me that after having an intimate relationship with Ot's wife, he ordered the murder of Kila to Nuredin Dumani. So the organizer of Ot Kila's murder was Erion Alibej and not Suel Çela," Xhuliano Hoxha testified.
But Justice Associate Erjon Alibej and his lawyer described Hoxha's testimony as trillium. Alibej also asked the media to be careful with the information they convey regarding the case.
"I will also speak in my statements. But I suggest to the media not to publish everything that these people say here. He mentioned the name Suel Cela. I tell the media to be patient until I speak, because I will speak about Suel Cela and other Suel Cela. I suggest to the media not to rush," he said.
Meanwhile, the accused Petrit Qoli has accused Nuredin Dumani of false testimony and asked prosecutors to take into account the consequences of the repentant justice's statements.
"SPAK has imprisoned a young Ervis Naci. Convincing others to give from their wealth is a great value from God. I have explained to you the consequences of this terrorism. Let the prosecutors know the consequences. Honorable judges, I do not want to live. I would have committed suicide, but I am a believer and I do not do it. I had a similar situation in Italy, when another Nuredin accused me, but the Italian prosecutor believed me. I have been in prison for so many years, away from my family, away from the father of my people. I will kill myself, Behar Dibra. But you break the law with four legs," said Petrit Qoli in court.
