According to sources for A2 CNN, it is learned that the citizens in question are Ilirjan Turtulli, Kudret Latollari and Fatos Ismailaj.
"The Police Supervision Agency (Elbasan-Korçë Region) has implemented the order of the Prosecutor's Office for the execution of the decision of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Korçë, which has imposed the security measure "Suspension of the exercise of a public duty or function", against 3 police officers, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Forgery of documents" and "Abuse of office".
- Deputy IT Commissioner, with the duty of Service Specialist at the Pogradec Border Police Station, at the Korça Border Police Headquarters;
- Inspector KL, on duty as Service Troop at the Pogradec Border Police Station, at the Korça Border Police Station;
- Inspector FI, on duty as a Service Troop at the Pogradec Border Police Station, at the Korça Border Police Station.
For the three officers in question, there were reasonable suspicions that "although they found on 28.12.2024 citizens EP and LE engaged in prohibited fishing in Lake Ohrid, through actions and inactions, they favored the illegal activity of these citizens, with suspicions of profit". (A2 Televizion)
