Krenar Velaj, the 27-year-old who was driving the dinghy that hit and injured a German tourist in Gjipe Bay, has been arrested by police.
The Blues explain that specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes arrested the 27-year-old, a resident of Orikum, in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Intentional Serious Injury".
" This citizen, yesterday, while driving a floating vehicle (dinghy), hit citizen DS, 46 years old, resident of Germany, who is currently in the Trauma Hospital, " it is further explained.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that the dinghy steered by Velaj was sailing outside the safety zone at the moment when the propeller hit the German tourist.
The injured were given first aid at the scene and then transported to the hospital for more specialized medical assistance, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
