"Golden Bullet" in Court, Nuredin Dumani's interrogation session

The Special Court decided to postpone the next session of the "Golden Bullet" case to April 1. The reason for the postponement was the absence of the lawyers of two of the defendants in the process, writes A2 CNN. The trial of this case is in the phase of questioning the repentant justice, Nuredin Dumani, by the co-defendants and their lawyers.

The “Golden Bullet” case includes 20 defendants, including Nuredin Dumani, who has agreed to cooperate with justice. This case is related to 27 murders, violent robberies and other serious crimes, confessed by Dumani.

The latter has testified that he bribed State Police officers to smuggle weapons across the border. He also revealed that he paid 40,000 euros to get out of prison in 2014, with the help of a relative of the then Minister of Justice.

In his testimony, Dumani also mentioned connections with well-known figures in the criminal world, such as Talo Çela and Erjon Alibej. He also confessed to his involvement in the execution of the Haxhia brothers in Durrës in April 2020.

During the court hearings, Dumani threatened the lawyer of one of the defendants, causing tension in the courtroom. The Special Court has accepted the request for a summary trial for some of the defendants in this case.

Forensic experts have described this case as a case involving a murder squad with around 20 people involved. The “Golden Bullet” trial is still ongoing, with testimony and evidence being reviewed by the Special Court. (A2 Televizion)
