Fier Police have initiated criminal proceedings against the President of the Apolonia Sports Club, Koço Kokëdhima, following the incidents that occurred yesterday at the "Loni Papuçiu" stadium.
During the match that the Apolonia women's team played against Gramsh, Kokëdhima entered the field and pushed the referee of the match, Dorjan Melataj.
"Specialists from the Fier Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen KK, 65 years old, resident of Tirana, with the position of President of "FK Apolonia", for women, for the criminal offense of "Violent acts in sports activities", after yesterday, during the FK Apolonia-FK Gramshi football match, this citizen entered the field, at the "Loni Papuçiu" stadium, and argued and pushed the referee of the match, citizen DM," the police announced.
Meanwhile, due to the tension, the match between Apolonia and Gramshi was interrupted for 25 minutes. In the footage that went viral on social media, it is seen that former MP Koço Kokëdhima and officials of the Fier team go down to the field and address the referee with insulting words.
