The State Police, in collaboration with SPAK, has conducted the first phase of the police operation codenamed "Promise", which aims to prevent and crack down on crimes in the field of elections.
The operation was undertaken by the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH), the Special Operational Force and the Shkodra Local Police Directorate.
Based on a decision dated May 7, 2025, issued by the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime, physical and vehicle searches were carried out on six citizens: FV, BL, DD, SZ, BH and ZD, residents of Shkodër, Bushat and Vau i Dejës.
The checks were carried out on nine vehicles, including vehicles owned by the aforementioned citizens, an OSHEE vehicle used by one of the checked persons, as well as other private vehicles.
During the operation, seven mobile phones, various documents, a sum of money in euros and lek, as well as fuel stamps were seized. Also, lists of names of citizens suspected of being linked to illegal activities within the framework of the electoral process were found and seized. (A2 Televizion)
