A powerful fire, favored by strong winds, has engulfed the area called "Driver's Rest" in Lushnje. As a result, several areas of barren land and bushes have burned, as well as a plot of about 4 dunyams of olive trees.
Two fire engines from the Lushnja Unit are at the scene, while residents of the area have also been engaged in helping to extinguish the flames, in order to prevent the fire from spreading to homes located very close to the hearth.
Residents, State Police forces, and the fire service have been engaged on the ground, in an effort to avoid any danger to life and property.
