At the end of the official deadline, the Central Election Commission has received 3 requests from political entities that want to present themselves as a coalition in the parliamentary elections on May 11.
What arrived first at the CEC was the request of the Movement for National Development and the "Right 1912" Party, which have chosen a merger and abbreviation of the names of the two entities to compete in these elections. The name of this coalition will be "Right for Development".
The second demand was that of the "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition, which was made official just a few days ago. This coalition includes the "Lëvizja Shqipëria Bëhet" Party, the "Nisma Thurje" Party, and the "League for the Rights of Albanian Workers" Party.
A few minutes before midnight, when the deadline also ends, the request of the DP and its 26 allies, seeking to register in these elections under the name Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania (DP - ASHM), arrived at the CEC. The last to join this coalition was Shpëtim Idrizi with the PDIU, who after several days of negotiations, according to sources, managed to secure a mandate as an MP on the safe lists. (A2 Televizion)
