A2CNN learns that on March 13-14, Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos will visit Albania. This is her first visit to Tirana, announced in January, while speaking to MEPs in the European Parliament's Foreign Policy Committee in Brussels.
At the Munich conference on February 16 of this year, in the panel with Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickosk, Commissioner Kos stated that Albania has all the capacities to conclude the process of reviewing the group chapters by 2027.
In her speech, Kos emphasized that today the EU is focused on security and peace at a time when, according to her, it is threatened by external forces, reports A2 CNN.
According to her, EU enlargement today is different from the way it was four or five years ago and that it is now a new positive moment in the EU.
The European Union Commissioner for Enlargement stated that she was talking to Prime Minister Edi Rama about organizing a basketball match between a representative of EU member states and a representative of candidate countries. (A2 Televizion)
