Democratic leader Sali Berisha has stated that candidate Arkend Balla, or as he calls him, the Troplini cartel candidate in Durrës, received 5,000 more votes than Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Berisha made the comments through a statement to the media, where he described the May 11 elections as an electoral farce, writes A2 CNN.
Berisha also said that in the May 11 elections there was major interference by criminal groups, which, according to him, dictated the citizens' vote.
Excerpt from Berisha's speech:
Attempts to ignore the influence of drug cartels, criminal organizations and groups, coordinated by Ergys Agasi, on the electoral farce constitute another major and ugly crime, a typical dimension of the electoral farce of narco-states.
The candidate of the Troplini cartel, the most powerful cocaine cartel in the Balkans and among the most powerful in Europe, which is the only cartel with a port at its disposal, is the cartel that controlled every square meter of the port of Durrës, is the cartel that made every appointment and canceled every discharge in this port, starting from the position of sweeper to crane operator, director and so on.
It is the cartel that controls dozens of businesses untouched by Altin Dumani.
It's the cartel that a year ago would have been found with 3 million euros and nothing happened to them.
This cartel had designated Arkend Balla as the future Minister of Interior of Albania.
In the Agasi-Rama-Doçi agreement, which is the grandson of the Troplini, but a prominent exponent, the Troplini cartel empire extends from Peru to Northern Europe.
So, this cartel brought Arkend Balla 5,000 more votes than Edi Rama in 2021.
Yes, Edi Rama received 15,000 votes.
Arkend Troplini received 21 thousand votes.
Look at what a monstrous crime propaganda commits.
He wants to sell this ugly farce of drugs and crime to Albanians for elections.
Arkend Troplini, in 2021, as Arkend Balla, received a total of 2,500 votes.
And when he was converted to Arkend Troplini, he received 21 thousand votes.
Is there anything more impudent than to advocate for this process?
What moral is left for the advocates of this process?
Troplini's lawyers in court are legal, they are paid by him, and it is normal that no one should be without a lawyer.
But his studio lawyers, who want to present such an electoral process to Albanians as a government success, are worthy of every epithet.
How can they talk about elections?
How can they talk about election victories when the same person received 2,500 votes in 2021, and after changing his last name to Arkend Troplini, he receives 21,000 votes. He surpasses Edi Rama by 5,000 votes. (A2 Televizion)
