Berisha promises forgiveness of fines for electricity, water and interest: 100%

The leader of the Democratic Party has accused the government of increasing the price of oil due to the tax of 1.1 euros per liter, emphasizing that this price is reflected in the prices of other goods. He promised to reduce taxes and equalize the price of oil with those of Kosovo and Macedonia.

"This government, I don't know any other, charges 1.1 euros for every liter of oil. It charges a tax on every liter of oil. That's why oil here is sold 40-50 percent more expensive than in Kosovo and Macedonia. Yes, many may say, we don't have cars. No, the price of oil is also reflected in the price of tomatoes, rice, sugar, in the price of everything that is transported."

Sali Berisha promised that upon coming to power, every fine imposed for electricity, water, construction in villages and cities, as well as interest, will be forgiven. During a meeting with residents of the capital, the leader of the blue headquarters also promised to halve the fiscal burden in the first two months of the DP's government.

"We will halve the fiscal burden, we will equalize it with that of surrounding countries so that oil can never be sold more expensive than plus/minus 10 percent compared to Kosovo and Macedonia. And finally, in this same package, all fines for pensioners, small businesses, all fines with interest on electricity will be amnestied for the first two months of the DP's government."

According to the democratic leader, interest on citizens is being collected illegally, as according to him, it has been forgiven once.

"These people build buildings and don't pay fines, while anyone who builds a roof in the village is arrested and thrown in jail. What I'm saying is real. This will end. Every fine imposed for electricity, water, construction in villages and cities, interest will be forgiven. Interest is collected illegally, there is no law, because it was already forgiven once. The director of OSHEE, the former director, hires and employs hundreds of patrons and then rushes to collect fines, interest and fake invoices from citizens. This will end. I have declared it. There will be an amnesty for fines and for small businesses, not just for citizens."

Berisha also promised 100 percent reimbursement for all medicines that a country like Italy has.

"Over 510 thousand pensioners benefit from this, who receive not a full pension, but a partial one. The partial pension is from 90 to 130-140 euros. No, all of them, without exception, will receive 200 euros. Those who do not have any pension will also benefit. They will also receive 200 euros. Society can never leave them at the mercy of fate."
