Sali Berisha said that the Democratic Party has invited the recently created parties to its grand coalition, but they refused to be part of it.
In a press conference, without specifying the names of the invited parties, Berisha said that those parties preferred to be in opposition, writes A2 CNN.
"The allies know that I am loyal to them, so I have full confidence in their loyalty. After all, they joined with full awareness that the greatest evil of this country is Edi Rama. They joined precisely to save Albania from Edi Rama. I say it once again here. Several other newly created parties have been invited to this alliance, but they do not consider Edi Rama to be Albania's major problem. Surprisingly, they did not find the strength to declare themselves an opposition party. They preferred the position of the opposition of the opposition.
