Kaja Kallas praised Albania as a strong partner in line with EU guidelines and for regional cooperation. Alongside Prime Minister Rama in Tirana, she said that our country is useful for having a safe environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
"Albania is a strong partner of the EU, you are in full compliance with the EU's security policy. The decision to implement sanctions against Russia and support for Ukraine shows your commitment to EU values. You are valuable and useful in terms of cooperation in the region to have a safe environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our cooperation brings benefits to both sides, we are committed to strengthening our relationship with Albania."
Regarding the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Kallas stressed that "what is important regarding Kosovo and Serbia cannot progress without the full normalization of relations between these two countries."
During her three-day visit to the Balkans, Kallas will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow, where she said she will meet with the parties to calm the situation.
"I will go to Bosnia and meet with the parties there in order to calm the situation."
