The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, spoke at the joint meeting of the parliaments of Kosovo and Albania, which was held this Friday in Pristina.
Osmani called for more cooperation between the two governments, while emphasizing that Kosovo faces obstacles and in this difficult path, Albania's support is needed, writes A2 CNN.
"We are living in a turbulent time that requires cooperation. This is not just a solution. A stronger Albania also means a stronger Kosovo. History will not judge us kindly to build the necessary harmony. Each one of us must play his role in the advancement of the states within the great European family.
Albania is taking decisive steps towards the EU path. Kosovo remains steadfast on its path to EU integration and our commitment is daily. Injustices against the people of Kosovo keep increasing, we need Albania's steadfast support in this regard.
To unify the foreign policy, to cooperate in the protection of the rights of Albanians wherever they live. The Albanians in Bujanoc, Preshevo and Medvegja have their eyes on us. For Kosovo, Albania has been more than a sister state", said President Osmani. (A2 Televizion)
