Prime Minister Edi Rama gathered today at the headquarters of the Socialist Party the candidates for deputies of the Tirana district.
During his speech to the audience, Rama said that the Socialist Party and his government will achieve the country's entry into the European Union by 2030.
He also said that the Socialist Party is the author of the Justice Reform, which according to him, the opposition parties want to undo, writes A2 CNN.
The Chief Executive told citizens that the train of history stops very rarely at one station and the opportunity for citizens is limited, they catch it or lose it.
"The train of history stops very rarely at one station, it does not stay there indefinitely. Because that is the way history unfolds. The country catches the train or misses it. It is today, seeing all the changes around the world, existential for us to be in the EU. It is important that we talk to people about the importance of this moment.
This is of vital importance for Albania and Albanians, because only by entering the EU can Albania once and for all secure the individual freedom of Albanians. Individual freedom is threatened as long as we are outside the EU. In equality before the law, we have a very clear threat.
"We are here the authors of the Justice Reform, the leaders of the transformational justice process and the bearers of the greatest costs of this process, and with the full awareness that without us this process is unfeasible. And facing us are forces that want to reverse everything that has been achieved so far. When we enter the EU, it will no longer matter who governs here," said Rama, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
