The Chairman of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, stated that the State Police's abandonment of judges and prosecutors in office is a serious state crime.
Bardhi made the comments through a reaction on social networks, regarding the protest taking place today in front of SPAK for the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj, writes A2 CNN.
Bardhi has called on the blue uniforms to stop implementing orders that he believes are illegal and to remain dedicated to their duties.
Bardhi's reaction:
The State Police's abandonment of judges and prosecutors in office is a serious state crime!
The absence of the State Police in the illegal gathering of Tirana Municipality employees at GJKKO and SPAK is an unprecedented act of pressure from the government.
I call on honest employees of the State Police to refuse to implement illegal orders and be at the forefront of their duties, with dedication to Albania and its European future.
Edi Rama must immediately abandon the criminal methods of pressure against judges and prosecutors in office. This is the Republic of Albania, not the private state of the mafia Edi Rama! (A2 Televizion)
