Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech at the meeting of the Socialist parliamentary group, declared that Europe's interest "in strengthening itself in all directions and in seeing the enlargement process as one of the directions of its strengthening is greater than anything else, and here is also the compatibility of our internal circumstances with those of the EU."
"The possibility that our relations with the EU will return to "business as usual", that they say you have done your homework, but you need to do even more and that the European Commission will ask the Council to open the doors and that countries will come out and say "wait a minute, we have some remarks" is a possibility that has not been ruled out. On the contrary, for now it has been set aside because the interest of the EU, the interest of Europe to strengthen itself in all directions and to see the enlargement process as one of the directions of its strengthening is greater than anything else and here is also the compatibility of our internal circumstances with those of the EU. This is the open window that Albania should not and will not allow us to miss as an opportunity", declared Rama, writes A2.
"We have agreed with the EU a negotiation calendar that is unprecedented in the history of integration and in the EU's negotiation processes with a candidate country. Since last year, when the negotiation process began to be implemented concretely after the "screening" process, until today, the speed with which we have progressed in opening chapters is unprecedented. No country before us and no country in the region has moved at this speed," Rama added.
According to the head of government, "today there are about 1,000 people engaged in the Albanian state working every day on the negotiations."
