Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the "Sy m'sy" section on Facebook, promised that the minimum wage will go up to 500 euros.
"The average salary in Albania is 1250 euros in the public sector and 1000 euros in the combined salary. We are in conditions where we have increased the average general salary more than two and a half times. We are exactly at these figures and the reason why we are voted for massively is that there are a large number of people who have things in front of their eyes. When I say that the minimum salary was 157 euros, it is 400 euros, those who have the minimum salary know very well what I am talking about," said Rama, writes A2.
"In June, we will convey to companies the decision that the minimum wage will be 500 euros next January. People know it," Rama further emphasized.
