With just two days before the May 11 elections, Endrit Shabani, the chairman of the Nisma Thurje and candidate for MP in Tirana as co-leader of the 'Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet' coalition, has received the support of a group of MEPs from the largest group in the European Parliament.
MEP Anna Strolenberg, representative of the Pan-European movement, expressed her support for Shabani through a video message, praising his and Nisma Thurje's commitment to the fight against corruption, especially in denouncing abuses of European Union funds in the agricultural sector.
In her message, Strolenberg emphasizes the importance of electing new European-minded leaders, who represent a fairer Albania and closer to the European Union: “ When you think of Albania, do you think of beautiful beaches or EU membership? I would like to visit Albania for a vacation, but I would like to see it as an EU member state more. Albania is a wonderful country, but it faces challenges – and the biggest of them is corruption.
This Sunday, Albanians have the opportunity to elect a new leader, with European values and a strong commitment against corruption. Endrit Shabani is one of those fighting for an honest and just Albania. If you are Albanian, vote for change .
