The meetings held by Democratic Party officials in several European countries and in the USA, for Sali Berisha, are far from achieving a positive result in the May 11 elections. In the first meeting with the deputies, the leader of the opposition demanded one more march from everyone.
"Identification of immigrants has begun, a series of meetings have been held in Greece, Italy, USA, Great Britain. But if we consider the planet as a constituency, these are drops of water in the ocean, these are what we have done so far".
The commitment, he said, should be of the same rite as inside and outside the country.
"As we have the flag, one head in Albania and the other head in emigration and diaspora".
He asked all MPs to support the Diaspora Coordinator, Jozefina Topallin, with the task for which they already have the task of organizing meetings abroad with the aim of tripling the votes.
"97 percent of us have at least 3 to 10 people from their circle. But if we do it alone, it does not bring anything great. But if we convince every democrat, supporter, supporter to do this, it brings 2, 3-fold to our electorate. There is a great hatred towards Edi Rama and the government".
Earlier in the press conference, Berisha claimed that he still does not have an agenda for his trips abroad.
"I have not determined the agenda of the meeting nor the place yet. But the meetings are continuing".
Berisha admitted for the first time that negotiations are underway between the democrats and the socialists for intervention in the Electoral Code to facilitate voting from abroad as much as possible. He affirmed that these changes will not be conditional on the old request for the return of coalitions. (A2 Televizion)
