The economic disparities of Albanian families, which are also reflected in the way of life, clothing, spending and behavior of children in schools and other environments, intertwined with social networks, are seen as the main reasons for bullying, which has recently become a very dangerous phenomenon not only in terms of the education of the younger generation but also their lives and health. Bullying among adolescents is as dangerous as it is surmountable if help is sought. And who better than a bullied girl in her early teens can confirm this.

A2 CNN brings her testimony, the beginnings of bullying, the experiences and the help that has made her a stronger girl today, not only for herself but also for society.

"It started by taking pictures of me on my social networks and sharing them with friends I trusted. The most serious and insulting, denigrating comments. I saw them myself that they had been sent to me and were distributed massively. Then I went into a very serious state, I entered a very dark world, where I was alone judging myself for no reason. I was in the worst state, I was thinking about the worst act, of self-harm. At first I didn't want to ask for help, but then I spoke to my psychologist. I was very rebellious and stubborn to express what I felt, but over time I began to express myself. Bullying is not easily cured, it takes emotional rehabilitation, it lasted up to 3-4 years. Today I feel very strong and with rock-solid faith that no one can break. "We say no to bullying, let's express ourselves to make our souls feel better and let's not let anyone put us down and underestimate us. We are strong!", the teenager tells A2 CNN.

And to get the results of this testimony, social workers draw attention to two very important links in the lives of adolescents, family and school.

"The child should be observed when he enters the house, we should read how he throws his bag, how he reacts. Just as they try to dress him in beautiful clothes and expensive phones, parents should give greater interest in the growth and education of that child. Then the school varies," says Etleva Memia, a specialist at the NJMDF, to A2 CNN.

The increasing cases of bullying that protection units handle are both worrying and hopeful that the more they are reported, the more the serious consequences for adolescents will be reduced and overcome. (A2 Televizion)
