This is the Naunka drainage canal in Vlora, the blockage of which is one of the main reasons for the floods that the 1 May, 24 May and Kushtrimi neighborhoods have suffered.
As can be seen from the images even after the floods, the canal clearly appears to have not been cleaned, while the various constructions both along and above it have their own impacts on the flooding situation, writes A2.
The lack of investment and services in these neighborhoods is also evident from the condition of the roads and urban waste management.
Residents of the area express their willingness to demolish the buildings that obstruct the flow of this canal, provided that the municipality invests in their neglected area. (A2 Televizion)
